Mission

Sterling Extracts produces Concentrated Organic Herbal Elixirs and Tinctures.  We concentrate our tinctures in a vacuum chamber and use minimal heat to remove some of the alcohol solvent from each tincture.  We then replace this "missing" alcohol with Organic Hawaiian Honey to create Elixirs.  Our concentrated herbal elixirs and tinctures provide the following benefits over other products:

• More bioavailable (quickly and completely absorbed) than powdered herbs or herbal extract powders

• No need to swallow pills or capsules or mix clumpy powders

• Like traditional tinctures, they retain more of the heat sensitive bioactive plant compounds that are present in each herb.  These include both water and oil soluble compounds such as vitamin C, polyphenols, flavonoids, and glycosides that may be degraded by extraction processes that use high temperatures or prolonged exposure to heat.

• Compared to traditional tinctures they contain a lower concentration of alcohol and a higher concentration of beneficial bioactive plant constituents; this results in extracts with improved flavor and enhanced effectiveness.

• The addition of Organic Hawaiin Honey further improves the flavor of our concentrated tinctures and turns them into Elixirs.  It also enhances the body's ability to absorb the medicinal* compounds present in each herb.
